Please take the time to read our Terms and Conditions. By using our website, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions contained within. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the website.
Safety
Swashglass takes every care to ensure its products are safe. However, the glass used in our products should be treated with the same care and caution as normal glass in the home. It should be assumed that the glass used is not safety glass, tempered or hardened. Your jewellery should be inspected regularly for sharp edges. Swashglass accepts no responsibility for damage to your jewellery caused by it coming into contact with hard objects or other items that may damage it or injury caused by damaged jewellery. By its nature, jewellery is small and may have small component parts which could be swallowed. As such it is not suitable for children under 36 months and all other children should be suitably supervised when in contact with jewellery. Advice on repair and maintenance can be sought from Swashglass.
Privacy and Security

Swashglass takes the security and privacy of its customer’s personal information very seriously and will not disclose it, unnecessarily, to any third parties. All information will be held in accordance with the current General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR ) which comes into effect on the 25th May 2018. We may store your personal details securely on our own database to enable us to complete your purchase orders or any follow up support. These details are your name, address, contact telephone number and email address. These details will not be disclosed to any other party and once again these details are stored securely and disposed of securely.
Due to the new legislation we need your consent to contact you about promotions and newsletters that we send out from time to time. If you would like us to do this you can complete the ‘sign up to our newsletter’ box on our home page.
Finally, we use safe, secure technology and do not store credit card information. We do not use a courier service but post your purchases ourselves.
Complaints
We are proud of our products and service and would be unhappy to hear of anyone being dissatisfied with them. We take complaints seriously and will do our very best to rectify and issues in a timely manner. Should you wish to register a complaint, please email or write to Swashglass.
Ordering
Once you have placed an order, Swashglass will send you a confirmatory email. Please contact us if you do not receive an email within 48 hours. Do not hesitate in contacting Swashglass if you have any queries regarding your order.
Once payment has cleared, we aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours. Orders placed on a Friday will be sent on the following Monday.
Payment
We currently only accept Paypal for payment of orders placed.
Returns, cancellations and replacements
Swashglass sincerely hopes that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied, all our products (except earrings) come with a 14 day no quibble, full money back guarantee. Due to distance selling regulations regarding hygiene, we cannot offer an exchange for earrings; faulty or damaged earrings will be replaced or refunded.
Due to the unique and individual nature of our jewellery, it would be almost impossible to resize or adjust the colour of items. Should you be dissatisfied with you purchase, please write or email Swashglass.
As a consumer you have a right to cancel your order. This right starts from the time you make the order and ends 14 working days starting from the day after the goods have come into your physical possession. You can exercise your right to cancel by sending your notice of intention to Swashglass. If you cancel after the order has been dispatched you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Swashglass. You must ensure that you take reasonable care of the goods and return them in their original packaging with all components. Swashglass will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us for your location).
Swashglass will process all refunds once the jewellery has been received by us, normally within 48 hours and definitely within the legal maximum of 14 days.
All returned stock must be sent by First Class Mail (please ensure you obtain a 'proof of posting' receipt when sending) Please contact us in the 'contact us' section of our website and we will provide you with an address to return the item too.
Items lost in the post
Items lost in the post will be replaced or refunded once we are satisfied of the loss. The loss can only be refunded or exchanged following 15 working days after estimated date of delivery.
